Xiaomi has announced the launch in France of a new connected watch with a very elegant look and wireless headphones with active noise reduction.
As Mobile World Congress slowly opens its doors in Barcelona, Xiaomi took the lead by introducing its new range of smartphones, the Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro and 13 Lite, this Sunday. As often happens, the Chinese manufacturer took advantage of this launch to accompany its new smartphones with various accessories, launching a new pair of wireless headphones and a connected watch, the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro and the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro.
In fact, these are two products that were already launched last summer in China, at the same time as the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. A rather disappointing choice by Xiaomi since, in the meantime, the manufacturer had launched a new watch in China Xiaomi Watch S2. Therefore, we will probably have to wait before this new product, launched in December in China, goes below our lengths.

Still, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro remains a particularly interesting watch, incorporating most of the features of the classic Xiaomi Watch S1. Thus we find a very similar sober design with a silver case and brown leather strap – or in a sporty version with a black case and black rubber strap. The watch also has two buttons on the right side: a crown-shaped one at the top and an elongated one at the bottom. The watch benefits from a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen and the RTOS operating system. It is capable of measuring the number of steps, heart rate or SpO2, like the Watch S1. Xiaomi also specifies that its watch benefits from a two-week autonomy, speakers and a microphone to make calls.
In China, the manufacturer had indicated that its Watch S1 Pro could benefit from geolocation tracking thanks to a GPS GNSS chip. If the manufacturer doesn’t confirm this information for the European release, however, it’s a safe bet that the French model will also benefit from this athlete-loved feature.
Active Noise Canceling Headphones
On the side of the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, we have the right to wireless in-ear headphones in stem format with active noise reduction. The headphones benefit in particular from the LDAC codec for music streaming via Bluetooth and spatial audio with head movement tracking. As for active noise reduction, Xiaomi reports noise reduction up to a level of 48 dB. However, as always, these data should be taken with caution as they do not reflect the level of ambient sound reduction across the entire sound spectrum.
The Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro are now available at a price of 249.99 euros in two colors: gold or black. For its part, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro is shown in silver or black at a price of 299.99 euros. The two Xiaomi novelties will be available for sale from Wednesday, March 8.
