The OnePlus 11 hits the mark for less than 1,000 euros! Here we explain why we recommend it, what its greatest strengths are and who this smartphone is made for…

9 /10

one plus 11

  • Nice bright 6.7-inch screen
  • High performance
  • Nice battery life, very fast charging.
  • OxygenOS very successful

Available in €849 on Amazon

The OnePlus 11 is the latest flagship from Oppo’s sister company. The brand’s new model has the luxury of having the most powerful and cheapest chip at the moment, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. At the same level of performance as a Galaxy S23 Ultra, it is nevertheless much cheaper… If not free by default, this top-end model from OnePlus, however, manages to strike a good balance, particularly thanks to its fair price. In use, it’s a particularly pleasant phone to use. It convinced us and we gave it a 9/10 in the test.

Why buy the OnePlus 11?

Why choose this phone over another? We will explain right away why, in our opinion, it is one of the best smartphones of 2023, in three points.

For his incredible power

Simply put, the OnePlus 11 is, at the time of writing, the most powerful smartphone at this price. This is the case both in raw performance (in terms of raw numbers), and in 3D. Understand that the phone will have no problem running any game at max settings, without the slightest lag. If you make intensive use of your phone and you are a consumer of mobile video games, this is ideal. And because the 6.7-inch AMOLED panel is especially beautiful (and fluid, thanks to 120Hz), gaming and watching videos on the phone is a real pleasure. In addition, RAM is dynamically and intelligently allocated to each application, ensuring great fluidity.

For a personalized software experience

Speaking of fluidity, OxygenOS does the job perfectly. The animations are nice and the user happily benefits from extensive customization. The OnePlus overlay brings a host of specific features: for example, a dynamic Always On mode, a more advanced Monet function, or even the “Shelf” mode.

In addition to a polished OS, we’re entitled to one of the best longevities in terms of updates: four years of major updates, an excellent point that allows you to make a long-term investment.

To enjoy super autonomy

The OnePlus 11 combines two good points when it comes to battery life. It offers excellent autonomy and, in addition, a particularly fast recharge. In medium use, count between a day and a half and two days. For such a powerful smartphone, this is a good performer. This great autonomy is enabled in particular by very economical energy management by this famous Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. And if you end up, logically, running out of battery, you can recover it in a short time with a 100 W charge. In 5 minutes, you save 30%. In 20 minutes, the tank is full. Practical and efficient.

OnePlus 11: the cons to know

Nobody is perfect: the OnePlus 11 is not either. In view of our test, we can blame it for not being completely level on the photographic component, in the sense that other models do better in the same price segment, in particular the Pixel 7 Pro. If you want the best camera phone , this is not the ideal option, let’s be honest. Be careful, this does not mean that the shots are bad, far from it: they are simply not the best.
