Nothing has revealed the presentation date of its Nothing ear (2): it will be Wednesday, March 22 at 4:00 p.m. Paris time. The brand promises better sound and clarity in its future wireless headphones.
Two years ago, Nothing first landed on the tech market with the ear(1), an excellent pair of wireless headphones that offer good value for money. The following year we were able to discover the Nothing (Stick) ear, which improved comfort and offered a cover in a different format.
The Nothing ear (2) will be presented in a few days
Nothing announced this Monday the presentation date of Nothing ear (2): it will be this Wednesday, March 22 at 4:00 p.m. (French time). In its press release, the brand specifies that these headphones ” will take over the famous transparent design of Nothing. With top-of-the-line engineering and extensive customization options, they promise a superior listening experience. He also invites his community to register for the launch event and makes a pledge: “ better sound Better clarity. just better. »
To inform about its upcoming conference, the manufacturer used the image of a beetle. An evolution of the ladybug used for the ears (1) two years ago. Regarding what will be the Nothing ear (2), a leak had revealed images of the product a few weeks ago. What we can see is that if there are differences with the previous model, they are discreet.
The box would be squarer and its hinge wider. Regarding the headphones themselves, the location of the microphone would be changed. In addition, active noise reduction could be improved, with more customization and the arrival of a transparent mode. Lastly, multipoint Bluetooth could be a part of it, just like the app’s equalizer.
The other surprise of the Nothing conference
However, the Nothing conference could throw us another surprise, although the chances of that happening are slimmer. In fact, other leaks have been of a Bluetooth Nothing speaker. At the moment, we don’t know much about this potential new product from the brand. During the MWC 2023 that took place a few days ago, the founder of Nothing Carl Pei had promised the imminent arrival of a new product.
An image of the design was posted by 91mobiles : we see circular buttons, a plexiglass handle, but also speakers. It could be two tweeters and two transducers. There would also be pads under the object to put it down. We have no idea about the pricing positioning of this mysterious portable Bluetooth speaker.
