As part of the 2 Wheels de Lyon fair and the MWC, Segway-Ninebot announces a host of new products dedicated to mobility, including a new series of electric scooters: the F2 Series, with three models.

For a few days now, the MWC, a fair dedicated to mobile devices, has been taking place in Barcelona. If there are mainly novelties in the smartphone market, electric scooters are not left out. Segway presented along with the Segway-Ninebot Max G2 three models of its F2 series: Ninebot Segway KickScooter F2 Powered, F2 Plus Powered and F2 Pro Powered.
The F2 series of electric scooters has power to spare
The argument that the manufacturer immediately uses is the maximum power of these new models: 800 or 900 W. Given the price of these different electric scooters, it is honorable. Compared to the rest of the brand’s ranges, Segway-Ninebot aims to differentiate this with a wider handlebar to offer better stability. Enough to integrate turn signals to improve safety.

The F2, F2 Plus and F2 Pro have assigned tires without camera 10 inches that are on top of that self-heal. A range that also benefits from a new integration: it is Apple’s Find My, as in the new G2 Max, just introduced. It allows you to locate the scooter even if you lose it (this can be useful if it ever gets stolen).
On the brake side, each model has a disc brake at the front and an electronic brake at the front, as well as traction control (which is useful for avoiding aquaplaning). All are IPX5 certified and can reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h, in accordance with the legislation. Regarding driving, in addition, there are three traditional modes in the game: Eco, Driving and Sport, in addition to Walk and Park modes. To control all this, we have the right to a board that shows the information in color.
The main differences between the Segway-Ninebot F2 models
Ninebot Segway KickScooter F2 Powered, F2 Plus Powered, and F2 Pro Powered have small, but still noticeable differences. In the battery, for example, count 367 Wh for the smallest and 460 Wh for the other two. A difference that leads to another, that of charging time: 6.5 hours for the first, 8 hours for the other two.
This is also felt in the autonomy, since it will be respectively 40 and 55 km maximum. These batteries are also affected by the weight of the scooters: 17.2, 17.5 and up to 18.5 kg depending on the model.

Climb angles are slightly different between the F2, F2 Plus and F2 Pro models, being 18, 20 and 22% respectively. This is linked to the maximum power delivered: 800 W for the two least expensive references, 900 W for the most expensive.
