A smartphone that depends on energy
From a design point of view, we cannot say that the Realme GT 2 Pro is original. The smartphone plays the card of a rather luxurious design with a polymer back that incorporates a photographic module covered with a glass plate. On the screen side we have the right to OLED with a QHD+ definition of 3,216 x 1,440 pixels and above all an adaptive refresh rate that goes from 1 to 120 Hz depending on the content.
In addition to a premium screen, it is also in its bowels that the smartphone stands out. We are entitled to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip with 8 GB of RAM. It is very simple, this configuration makes it one of the most powerful smartphones of the moment, either for 3D games with graphics adjusted to the maximum or for the user experience. As for the interface, we are entitled to the latest version of Realme UI with Android 12.
A fast charge that’s cool
In terms of autonomy, the GT 2 Pro promises on paper to be comfortable thanks to a 5,000 mAh battery, but in reality it is quite classic, with more than a day of use. The real innovation is the 65W SuperDart fast charging system inherited from the first Realme GT of the name, which allows you to go from 10 to 100% in just 33 minutes. A feature that largely compensates for the fairly average autonomy. However, remember to use the supplied charger.
Another area where the GT 2 Pro doesn’t necessarily excel is photography. The smartphone continues to offer a powerful 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 wide-angle sensor and another rather interesting 50-megapixel fisheye sensor.
