Marshall has introduced a new Bluetooth speaker, the Middleton, which features a stereo sound system and the ability to adjust the volume for bass or treble.

For years, Marshall has been acclaimed for the quality and looks of its Bluetooth speakers. It must be said that the British brand has managed to seduce with speakers that are reminiscent of the appearance of its electric guitar amplifiers with the brand’s characteristic texture and its gold or silver finishes.
This week, Marshall has introduced a new Bluetooth speaker with the speaker manufacturer’s signature. Still developed by Zoud Industries, which also manages Adidas and Urbanears headphones, earphones and speakers, the Marshall Middleton is a high-end Bluetooth speaker despite a relatively compact 109 x 230 x 95mm size. So it weighs 1.8 kg on the scale and is equipped with stereo sound rated “multidirectionalby the manufacturer. In detail, the Marshall Middleton is equipped with two 3-inch woofers associated with 15 W amplifiers and two 3/5-inch tweeters associated with 10 W amplifiers, as well as two passive radiators. Enough to offer a frequency response of 50 to 20,000 Hz and a maximum volume of 87 dB SPL at 1 meter distance.
The ability to adjust the bass and treble on the speaker.
The speaker also benefits from a bit of originality with the ability to fine tune the bass or treble volume not only with the associated app on a smartphone, but also with two buttons located on top of the speaker. Additionally, multiple Marshall Middleton loudspeakers can be connected to the same source to amplify the sound signal.

As for ergonomics, we will find an IP67 tightness that allows it to be used without fear at the edge of a pool thanks to protection against dust and immersion to a depth of one meter. It is also announced that Marshall Middleton will be able to play for “more than 20 hoursbefore running out of battery. Charging is done via USB-C with a full charge in 4.5 hours. Finally, we can also use the speaker with wired sources thanks to the 3.5mm jack input. However, no microphone is integrated and the speaker – only Bluetooth 5.1 with the SBC codec – does not allow voice calls.
The Marshall Middleton has been available since January 31. It is offered in a single color, black and copper, at a price of 299 euros.
