Early last year, we tested the Roborock Dyad stick vacuum. The experience was more than effective, since this model received a very good score of 8/10. But, this year, the brand has decided to do better by launching a new version, the Roborock Dyad Pro, which has more powerful suction than its predecessor. Self-cleaning has also been improved, so as not to spoil anything. A huge and versatile broom.
Like its predecessor, the Roborock Dyad Pro stick vacuum adopts a rather massive format that could, at first glance, raise fears of a difficult grip, especially since it still weighs 4.8kg. But the brand has thought of everything and has equipped its vacuum cleaner with two-way assistance to be able to push and pull the device without much effort. Also, if the classic Roborock Dyad had a hard time standing up without falling, this Pro version is much more stable.
The robust construction of the Roborock Dyad Pro is justified by its action: it not only vacuums, but it is also capable of cleaning your floors and drying them, which implies a massive enough design for this versatility. Like the previous model, this device has two motors that drive three rollers. Therefore, the latter rotate in opposite directions to efficiently collect waste and liquids, such as milk or ketchup, in a single pass. But beware, this multifunctional reference has been designed only for hard floors, such as parquet, stoneware, waxed concrete or even linoleum. And a little extra: unlike the classic Dyad, the Dyad Pro can go up to 1mm from the wall, whereas its predecessor left an uncleaned stripe along furniture and walls.

The Dyad Pro differs from the Dyad by a more powerful suction, which amounts to 17,000 Pa. The maximum speed can go up to 110,000 revolutions per minute, which allows the broom vacuum cleaner to get rid of dirt from all your floors very quickly . There will be four modes available depending on your needs: an Eco mode, a Max mode, an Auto mode, or even a Floor Dry mode. For the cleaning part, the Dyad Pro also has a small reservoir on top of the brush head, into which cleaning fluid can be filled. It is then automatically released into the fresh water tank without having to do it manually for each cleaning cycle. In addition, Dyad Pro uses sensors to adapt the strength of this cleaning: the volume of water used and the suction power will differ depending on the level of dirt.
The Roborock Dyad Pro also has a “self-cleaning” feature: the three rotating brushes alternately move back and forth, which should make cleaning more efficient. After this self-cleaning, the station also offers automatic brush drying so that wet rollers don’t start to smell bad or become a breeding ground for bacteria. Finally, in terms of its autonomy, the Roborock Dyad Pro will be able to clean an area of up to 300 square meters with a single charge, which offers a usage time of 43 minutes.
