The Asus Vivobook 15X OLED scores points thanks to its quality screen, but also thanks to its powerful configuration. However, not everything is as expensive as before since on the brand’s website this laptop is shown at 649.99 euros instead of 799.99 euros.
Asus is undoubtedly one of the brands that dominate the laptop market, especially when it comes to displays. The manufacturer, in fact, has opted for OLED for several of its references, specifically those for office automation such as the Vivobook 15X OLED. Therefore, the latter is capable of displaying high-quality images, which will make it possible to chain the various tasks in a much more pleasant way. The moment is also ideal to test this laptop, since its price benefits from a reduction of 150 euros.
L’Asus Vivobook 15X OLED, c’est…
- A 15.6-inch Full HD OLED screen
- An AMD Ryzen 5 5600H chip
- A 512 GB SSD in M.2 NVMe format
Initially offered at 799.99 euros, the Asus Vivobook 15X OLED is now listed at 649.99 euros on the manufacturer’s official website.
A laptop with careful finishes and OLED above all
The Asus Vivobook 15X OLED is a machine with neat and clean finishes, with its metal chassis and no frills. Despite its 15.6-inch screen diagonal, which ranks it among large notebook PCs, it still manages to be easily transportable as it weighs only 1.70 kg. Therefore, it can be used both in teleworking and on the move. This ultrabook also stands out for the delicacy of its chassis, which does not prevent it from having a well-stocked connection: we will thus have the right to a USB-A 2.0 port, a USB-C 3.2 port, two USB-A 3.2 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port or even a 3.5mm jack. Enough to connect multiple peripherals if needed to complete your setup.
The highlight of this laptop is obviously this Full HD (1920 x 1080) OLED screen, which displays high-quality images, with the deep blacks and infinite contrasts that this display technology traditionally promises. Whether you want to do photo editing, video editing or even watch series, the visual comfort will be quite pleasant. We can regret the refresh rate that does not exceed 60 Hz, but for a machine dedicated to productivity and less to gaming, the fluidity will still be sufficient.
Performance not to be beat
In addition to excellent image quality, the Asus Vivobook 15X OLED also offers great performance, as it incorporates an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H chip, clocked at 3.3 GHz (boost up to 4.2 GHz) and supported by 8 GB of RAM. A configuration that will allow you to execute all kinds of office tasks. Even multitasking apps and some demanding apps can be supported. The Vivobook is also equipped with a 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD: so you will benefit from a large storage capacity, as well as enjoy short loading times and good fluidity. For the game, on the other hand, the graphic part will be limited, which is not ideal for linking the parts together.
