To establish itself in the market, Oppo also relies on its flagship range, also known as Reno. Launched at the end of the third quarter of 2022, the Oppo Reno 8 currently benefits from an offer that increases its price from 599 euros to 449 euros.

Oppo is known for its very good quality and powerful products with cutting edge technologies. The Chinese giant applies this philosophy to all its segments. For the mid-range smartphone market, the manufacturer offers the Oppo Reno 8, a model that oozes premium despite its lower price than the competition. And, today, it becomes even cheaper with this reduction of 150 euros.
What to expect from the Oppo Reno 8?
- A Full HD+ AMOLED panel at 90 Hz
- The Dimensity 1300 and ARM Mali-G77 MC9 combo
- Powerful fast charging and long battery life
Instead of 599 euros at launch, the Oppo Reno 8 is now available on sale at 499 euros, but an ODR of 50 euros (valid until February 28, 2023), allows you to get this smartphone at only 449 euros at RED by SFR.

Oppo Reno 8 at the best price?
Premium finish and features
The Reno 8 may be a mid-range model, but Oppo has taken care of its design and finish. For this model, the Chinese giant has opted for a monocoque chassis with a plastic frame and a coating that does not leave traces, but above all improves grip. The same goes for flat edges, but with rounded outlines. You will have no problem handling its dimensions of 73.4 x 160 x 7.67 mm for 180 g. At the rear we have a triple photosensor, the main one being 50 Mpx. This offers more natural images. As for the selfie sensor, it is 32 Mpx that also works well.
The configuration of this smartphone is also impressive. While most of the competition leans towards Qualcomm, Oppo has chosen to equip its smartphone with the powerful Mediatek Dimensity 1300 SoC, coupled with the ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. This combination is capable of carrying out the slightest of your requests without worry. To bring more fluidity to everyday life, there is 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 ROM.
Good gloss and resistance.
The Oppo Reno 8 has a pleasantly bright OLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixel definition for 409 ppi density. As for the brightness, it goes up to 800 cd/m². If this is not the highest score on this subject, the optimization provided by the Chinese firm makes it rival high-end models. Based on Android 12, the interface is intuitive and highly responsive with a 90Hz refresh rate.
As usual, Oppo brings its battery and fast charging know-how to this smartphone. The Reno 8 has a 4,500 mAh battery that provides autonomy for a day and a half in mixed use. Although it lasts, this model comes with a fast charge of 80 W that manages to go from 0 to 100% in 28 minutes. Charging, meanwhile, is done through a USB-C port. Finally, there’s WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
