Accessible and comfortable headphones
The Realme Buds Air 3 Neo represent the “Lite” counterpart to the Realme Buds Air 3. As such, they largely use the same design, with more rounded stems and a slightly slimmer size. They are also lighter with only 4 grams per earphone and their in-ear format allows good support in the ear canal. Therefore, it is not a problem to wear it for several hours without feeling any particular discomfort.
On the autonomy side, the headphones can store up to 7 hours of playback for each earphone, which is a performance for this price positioning. By comparison, the Nothing Ear (1) are less effective at this point, even without noise reduction. If we add the case, we can last up to 30 hours. For recharging, the manufacturer announces that it only takes 10 minutes to recover 2 hours of additional listening.

No, the Realme Buds Air Neo do not compete with the best references from Sony or Bose. Obviously with such a price, it was necessary to make concessions. At first, they are satisfied with the SBC and AAC codecs, which are however sufficient for streaming audio playback. Note that they do support Dolby Atmos, but we’re still dubious about rendering once activated.
No active noise reduction, but good passive isolation. They still have a system for canceling ambient noise during calls. Result: you get a calmer conversation with your interlocutor.
