The Lite version of the Galaxy Tab S6 is inspired by the most premium model with some concessions to lower the price of the invoice. First of all, it ignores the Oled technology, but this is not prohibitive when the LCD panel it offers is of good quality. Its 10.4-inch screen is therefore very pleasant to view content with its Full HD+ definition of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels.
It partly copies the aesthetics of its older sister, and has an aluminum chassis with a most beautiful effect. Relatively compact and lightweight, it will be easy to transport so that it can accompany you everywhere during your travels. The Korean giant’s tablet is just as effective in professional tasks, since it incorporates an S-Pen stylus. A welcome addition from Samsung.
A boost of energy thanks to an update
Upon release, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was powered by the brand’s Exynos 9611 chip. Refreshed for 2022, it’s now powered by a Qualcomm processor: the Snapdragon 720G coupled here with 4GB of RAM. A chip already seen in the Galaxy A52, which is perfect for browsing the Internet, checking social networks or viewing content. It will even be possible to run some games in 3D if you are not too fussy about graphic quality. Of course, we find Samsung’s excellent One UI interface, for pleasant and fluid navigation on a daily basis.
Autonomy is ensured by a 7040 mAh battery. Enough to use it between 1 and 3 days, depending on its use. This allows you to skip the charger when you travel. On the other hand, to recharge you should not be in a hurry, since a full charge will take almost 4 hours – the transition from 0% to 20% takes 45 minutes.
