More than a month after the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S23, the manufacturer returns to the market, but this time attacking the entry level, with the Galaxy A14 4G and Galaxy A14 5G. Two smartphones that share most of the elements of their technical sheet, although with some differences. Two quite attractive models thanks to their designs similar to that of the Galaxy S23.
Samsung today announced the launch of the Galaxy A14 4G, Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54. A lot of new smartphones that cover all prices, from 200 to 550 euros. Among them, the Galaxy A14 5G: an entry-level smartphone for less than 300 euros that offers 5G, but not only.
A return to the melodies of the Galaxy S23
The design of the Galaxy A14 5G is almost the same as its 4G version. There’s a back that looks a lot like the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ with separate photo sensors, not bundled together. In the lower central part, we find the inscription of the brand. If we find grooves on the back like those of the 4G version, here they cover the back of the phone with a speckled pattern instead of simple vertical lines.
On the other side, however, it is not the same story. The edges are present, even at chin level. For less than 300 euros, it is not about having a selfie sensor hit on Samsung: we end up with the notch called “infinity v“. The Galaxy A34s are entitled to a slightly different notch, called “infinity u».
As with its 4G version, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will benefit from two years of major Android updates, as well as four years of security patches, which is the standard in the market. In addition, Samsung advertises a repairability index of 8.8, one of the best scores ever obtained according to the manufacturer.

Among the notable differences between the 4G and 5G versions, this 5G smartphone is entitled to 90Hz, a different chip, and a configuration with more storage.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G price and availability
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is available today in two configurations:
- 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage at 249 euros;
- 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage at 299 euros.
A smartphone available in three different colors: black, green and silver. What we can see is that its price does not increase compared to last year.
