On the sidelines of CES, the OnePlus 11 was unveiled at the beginning of January 2023. It offers a nice high-end move compared to its predecessor, with a price that, once again, does not exceed the token bar of 1000 euros. It’s now up for pre-order at various e-retailers.

After Samsung with its Galaxy S23, it is OnePlus’ turn to officially lift the veil on its new high-end smartphone for the year 2023. It is the OnePlus 11… Of course, it stands alone and no Phone Pro version is planned for the moment be However, it has everything of a Pro thanks to an oversized technical sheet, especially since it has a clear advantage over the competition: its price. Indeed, the OnePlus 11 does not exceed 1,000 euros, regardless of the model you choose.

All about the OnePlus 11
The OnePlus 11 is the logical sequel to last year. In general, it retains the same design as its predecessor, in particular this cooking plate that actually contains the camera sensors, in the left corner at the top of the back of the smartphone. Unlike its competitors, the Chinese brand does not compete for the number of inches or megapixels. No, OnePlus does things in a balanced way and offers a 50-megapixel main sensor or a 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle.
Where the 11th iteration of this high-end phone takes a chance is on the telephoto lens, as it packs in a x2 dedicated to portrait mode photos. The latter benefits from a technology « multispectral identification » with 13 channels, it’s supposed to help “cover all photographic scenarios”. According to our test, it is easy « have fun with this optic x2, without making too many mistakes in the shot ».
9 /10

Obviously, in terms of performance, OnePlus continues to offer the best in its premium smartphones. The OnePlus 11 is naturally equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with 8 or 16 GB of RAM depending on the model chosen. The Qualcomm chip promises a performance gain of 35% for the CPU and 25% for the GPU. Specifically, no use in 2023, or even years after that, will undermine this setup. In addition, the heating is quite well managed. As for the user experience, it is perfectly smooth, also under Android 13 with the Oxygen OS interface.
To enjoy the OnePlus 11 as it should, you will finally have the right to an excellent 6.7-inch OLED screen, with QHD+ definition and a 120 Hz refresh rate, without forgetting LTPO 3.0 technology to save a bit of battery life. In addition, the latter offers a capacity of 5,000 mAh, more than enough to last a whole day, or even more depending on the use. However, you can count on 100W SuperVOOC charging if needed, which takes just 20 minutes to go from 9 to 100%.
Small brand-specific originality, thealert slider, housed in the frame at the height of the photoblock, continues its journey after being removed from the OnePlus 10T. As a reminder, this is a slider button located on the edge of the phone with three options: Sound On, Vibrate, Silent.
