OnePlus 11: the new premium benchmark from OnePlus

Although it does not have a “Pro” name, the new OnePlus 11 has an impressive technical sheet and sports a very careful design, with an imposing block of photos on the back with a chrome finish. Designed in collaboration with the specialist Hasselblad, this camera houses three sensors with good definition, namely:

  • a 50-megapixel main sensor associated with an optical image stabilizer;
  • a second 48-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens;
  • a third 32-megapixel sensor with a x2 optical telephoto lens.

The set allows you to film up to 8K at a speed of 24 frames per second, which is remarkable definition. And if the photography part benefits from a noticeable improvement compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro launched in 2022, there are also other developments on the agenda.

The OnePlus 11’s 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display features an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and to do so, it houses LTPO 3.0 technology. This provides optimal fluidity, which does not affect the autonomy of the phone. The screen is capable of automatically adapting its refresh rate to the broadcast content. Who needs 120 frames per second to see a photo?

Especially since the OnePlus 11 benefits from a large 5000 mAh battery, compatible with 100 W ultra-fast charging. It only takes 25 minutes to fully charge your smartphone. So you will never run out of battery for long.

And to complete this already very successful technical sheet, OnePlus has chosen to integrate Qualcomm’s brand new high-end chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, supported by up to 16 GB of RAM. It’s the highest-end mobile processor of 2023 and has no problem running the most demanding 3D games you’ll find on the Google Play Store.

Highly equipped, the OnePlus 11 obtained an excellent score of 9/10 during the test carried out by Frandroid. On the occasion of its launch, this smartphone equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is available for pre-order from 849 euros, with a pair of Buds Pro 2 on offer. And if you opt for the maximum configuration, you get a Bang & Olufsen speaker (Beosound A1 2nd Gen) as a gift.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2: a great combination of sound quality and comfort

Apart from its OnePlus 11 smartphone, the Chinese brand has introduced a new pair of in-ear wireless headphones, the Buds Pro 2. Light, as they weigh only 4.9 g per earphone, however, they are true concentrates of technologies. OnePlus has gone to great lengths to improve audio quality to allow you to fully immerse yourself in your music, a movie, or even a video game.

The Buds Pro 2 are also the first wireless earbuds from OnePlus to support Bluetooth LE Audio, a recent technology that noticeably reduces latency to 54ms. And for the immersion to be complete, the Asian firm relies on two essential assets:

  • active noise cancellation, which reduces unwanted sounds by up to 48 dB using 3 microphones;
  • Dolby Atmos 3D support with head tracking, so you feel like sound surrounds you and moves with you.

As a bonus, the Buds Pro 2 are Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified for high-fidelity sound. A rich sound made possible by the two integrated transducers, including a first of 11 mm in diameter for bass and a second of 6 mm for treble.
