By deciding to design its own ARM chip, Apple has revolutionized the market with its MacBook Air M1 2020. This model replaces the Intel processors that equipped its predecessors. It’s simple: performance is significantly better than a more expensive Intel MacBook Pro. For comparison, against Intel, processor performance is up to 3.5 times better and graphics performance is up to 5 times faster.
Since then, the Californian firm has introduced new, more powerful chips, but the M1 still holds its own very well. To ensure good productivity, the MacBook Air M1 offers a generous autonomy, which exceeds 50% to the previous generation. You can, in theory, make it through a day’s work without getting stranded.
