Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max at the best price?
A powerful iPhone capable of lasting 2 days
The iPhone 14 Pro Max stands out from the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus by integrating a differentiating chip: the A16 Bionic. It’s a great chip, capable of handling any type of task without slowing down. Being 10% more powerful (at the CPU level) than the previous generation, it doesn’t bring much of a power gain, but it does have the merit of keeping the drag high on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. With iOS 16 in play, you’ll have enjoy an interface that is always fluid and easy to use.
The brand continues to make progress in the autonomy of its smartphones. iPhone 14 Pro Max gets an additional 1 hour longer than iPhone 13 Pro Max, even with a slightly smaller battery. With heavy use, it lasted for two days during our test. The only drawback: its slow loading. Count from 1 h 45 to 2 hours to recover the full capacity of your accumulator. Wireless charging via MagSafe is obviously present.
with something new
Aesthetically, the iPhone 14 Pro Max uses the stainless steel contours and frosted glass back found on older models. Once turned on, we no longer find the notch, but a tablet, called “Dynamic Island”, to house the front camera and the sensors necessary for Face ID. It integrates perfectly with the software’s interface, as it automatically interacts with your notifications and widgets through animations.
Another first on the display side, Apple integrates the always-on display mode. Perfectly mastered here, it will constantly display information such as date and time. For the rest, the panel is still Oled with a refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz, on a diagonal of 6.7 inches. For the photo, the main sensor changes to a 48-megapixel lens. In general, the photos are generally sharper. The ProRAW format in 48 megapixels is also in the game. The x2 telephoto lens is another novelty, in addition to the x3 telephoto zoom and the ultra wide angle, both 12 megapixels. The TrueDepth camera has also been improved with an f/1.9 aperture here for better low-light performance, not to mention improved autofocus.
