Philips has introduced its new Fidelio T2 headphones, noise canceling headphones with a dual driver system, but without sacrificing battery life.

In addition to its new high-end headphones, the Fidelio L4, Philips took advantage of its world event, organized this Tuesday in Amsterdam, to present its new wireless headphones from the Fidelio range, the Philips Fidelio T2.
Sans grande surprise, ces écouteurs font suite aux Fidelio T1, launches in August 2021. Like its predecessors, the s’agit d’écouteurs sans fil au format intra-auriculaire, with des embouts en silicone, endowed with large tactile surfaces for the controls of the music. The headphones are however more compact than their predecessors, around 20%, while the housing has also been reduced with a 40% more compact format.
For pairing, the Fidelio T2 are compatible with the Google Fast Pair protocol. As with the Fidelio L4, the Fidelio T2 headphones are compatible with Bluetooth 5.3, but also with the Bluetooth LE Audio profile. As such, they not only support the SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs, but also the LC3 profile. The headphones also feature graphene-coated 9.2mm dynamic drivers and a second balanced-armature driver system for better treble detail.
A very comfortable autonomy
Philips Fidelio T2 also benefits from an adaptive noise reduction feature that uses four microphones. Two other microphones are used to pick up voices during voice calls.

Remarkably for headphones with dual drivers, Philips advertises that its Fidelio T2 can run for 9 consecutive hours with noise reduction (27 hours with the case) and 10 hours without it (30 hours with the case). The headphones are also IPX4 certified and therefore resistant to sweat, splashes or rain.
For now, Philips has not announced a launch date or price for its Fidelio T2. For example, the 2021 Fidelio T1 was offered at €299 at launch. Therefore, we can imagine a price close to 300 euros for this new generation.
