Along with the OnePlus 11, the Chinese brand plans to unveil two new pairs of headphones and a new smartphone during two separate conferences on the same day. We take stock.
While we already know that OnePlus will officially launch its OnePlus 11 in the global market on February 7, accompanied by OnePlus Buds Pro 2, it will not be the only event hosted by Oppo’s premium brand. In fact, as reported by the site GSMArenaIf the world market – outside of China – qualifies for the OnePlus 11, the firm will host a conference in China on the same day to present the OnePlus Ace 2 and another pair of wireless headphones, the OnePlus Buds Ace.
Specifically, the OnePlus Ace 2 should be the same model as the OnePlus 11R and should also be announced at the OnePlus international conference, as part of the launch of the OnePlus 11 range. GSMArenaOnePlus has already shared part of its technical sheet that should include a 120 Hz LTPS LCD screen, a 5000 mAh battery with 100 W fast charging, up to 16 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, so it should be a A more accessible model than the classic OnePlus 11 that should carry Qualcomm’s latest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
A new pair of wireless headphones.
Alongside this smartphone positioned at the entry of the high-end segment, OnePlus should also introduce a new pair of wireless headphones. Of course, it’s also February 7 when we’re expecting the global launch of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, but the firm would be reserving a new pair of true wireless earbuds for the Chinese market, the OnePlus Buds Ace.
Again, OnePlus has already shared information about these future headphones. The OnePlus Buds Ace will thus benefit from a total of 36 hours of autonomy thanks to the charging case. They will also be equipped with an active noise reduction feature and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with a OnePlus-announced low latency mode of around 47ms.
Above all, in terms of design, the OnePlus Buds Ace are very similar to the OnePlus Nord Buds, launched in France in May 2022 at a price of 49 euros. Therefore, it is likely that the headphones will also arrive in France in the coming months under the OnePlus Nord range.
