Nothing’s next product would be neither a smartphone nor headphones… but probably a Bluetooth speaker. If this clue is confirmed, it would be the brand’s first attempt in this market.

Nothing is getting ready to enrich your catalog with a totally new product: a Bluetooth speaker. At least that’s what the specialized site 91Mobiles assures, which managed to unearth a first visual of the accessory. The latter would complete the current offer of the start-up founded by Carl Pei, limited mainly to a smartphone (the first Nothing Phone of the name) and two pairs of wireless headphones (the Nothing ear (Stick) and Nothing ear).
Although we can’t be sure at this point (other rumors come into play, including the soon-to-be-released Nothing in-ears), this Bluetooth speaker could very well be the mysterious new product mentioned by Carl Pei during his stint at MWC. 2023. The interested party then spoke of an announcement next month.
A speaker… we don’t know much about
On the design side, the venue would adopt an atypical aspect that corresponds well to the brand’s identity. Box-shaped, with circular buttons arranged on the sides and a surprising plexiglass handle, the latter would take up the colors beloved by Nothing, while sporting the brand’s logo on a ring located on the upper part of its forehead, between two tweeters. Two transducers for the bass would be housed below. Silicone pads finally seem to be installed under the speaker to give it a good grip.

Please note that we do not know the technical data sheet for this speaker at the moment. It is therefore difficult to have an idea of what it will allow in terms of audio, in terms of connectivity or even autonomy. We also do not know what its price would be or when this new accessory would hit the market. If this really is the surprise product Carl Pei mentioned a few days ago, we should know more in a few weeks.
