Samsung’s new Galaxy S23 range made a grand entrance with its most premium model: the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. After a somewhat disappointing previous edition, the Korean manufacturer has revised its copy, notably with the addition of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. A much more powerful processor than the traditional Exynos that equipped the brand’s smartphones.
This model has also distinguished itself as the best photographic smartphone available today. Even the autonomy of the phone is excellent, since it lasts two days of use. It is for all these reasons that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is our favorite at the beginning of the year and the best smartphone of 2023. The other two iterations, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23 Plus, were also tested by us. They’re also excellent models, for those looking for a slightly less premium and less expensive experience.

Few manufacturers have ventured to offer foldable smartphones outside of the Asian market. With the Oppo Find N2 Flip, the Chinese brand is playing on Samsung’s ground with a true rival to the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The smartphone offers a neat design, with a good-quality hinge and high-level finishes. The 6.8-inch main screen is excellent when unfolded and offers a 21:9 aspect ratio that is very practical for everyday use.
This phone is squarely among the best foldable smartphone models available today. In fact, the Oppo Find N2 Flip is also perfectly optimized thanks to the contribution of the ColorOS interface that adapts to its uses. This is arguably the most successful foldable smartphone model to date. Our editorial team also considers the Oppo Find N2 Flip as one of the favorites of the beginning of the year.

In 2023, OnePlus is more affordable than in previous years with only one model. Do not think that the OnePlus 11 is overused, far from it.
