Visible in the American and Indian certification records, but also in Geekbench, the new Galaxy A54 5G reveals several of its features ahead of time. Here’s what we now know about the device.

The Galaxy S23 will surely grab all the attention during its presentation, scheduled for February, but it is not the next flagship from Samsung that will generate the most sales in 2023 for the Korean manufacturer. The best-seller role will probably fall on the Galaxy A24, which is more focused on the entry-level range… but also on the Galaxy A54, which interests us at the moment.

Expected for the spring in the mid-range, the machine has been submitted to at least two certifying offices ahead of its release. It has also been the subject of several leaks in recent weeks that allow us, now, to have a fairly accurate portrait of the robot in terms of its technical sheet.

Galaxy A54 5G: what to expect?

If we believe the renderings shared by OnLeaks, a few weeks ago, the successor to the Galaxy A53 will also be inspired by the design of the Galaxy S23 to adopt, in particular, three photosensors housed vertically and individually, on its back, without protrusions. allowing them to group together on an island. On the other hand, there will be a bump at the front and a slight chin, like on the current A53.

Power-wise, and if the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) data is to be believed, the Galaxy A54 will make do with Samsung’s 25W recharge for top-up power (15W charging will also be supported). Still according to the FCC data, the device will also be equipped with a rather generous 4905 mAh battery.

As for connectivity, the Galaxy A54 5G will support Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, WLAN a/b/g/n/ac/ax, and NFC. In other words, support for Wi-Fi 6 is planned, with no further details at this stage. Previous leaks finally tell us about the motorization of the next accessible Samsung mobile. There would be an Exynos 1380 processor along with at least 6 GB of RAM, while everything would run on Android 13.

We do not know the details of the part of the photo, but Samsung would bet a priori on a 50 Mpx main sensor, at least according to the information collected by my smart price. A rather surprising decision at first glance since the Galaxy A53 relied on a 64 Mpx main module.
