OnLeaks shares accurate renders of the Google Pixel 8 in which we see that the grip of the smartphone would change slightly compared to the previous generation due to the more rounded angles.

After the Pixel 8 Pro showed off its look, it’s the classic Google Pixel 8’s turn to do the same. The OnLeaks aker in fact shares renderings of the smartphone, always based on information communicated to him by his sources in the industry. First observation: the smartphone should seek to refine its design, not revolutionize it.

Therefore, if we look at the photo module on the back, we still see the same imposing block running across the back of the smartphone from one edge to the other. The Google Pixel 8 would also stay in a formula with two photo sensors. Like its predecessor, the Pixel 7, it should ignore the telephoto lens, which is exclusive to the Pixel 7 Pro, and the Pixel 8 Pro.

Curved angles for the Pixel 8
Rather, looking at the front of the Google Pixel 8 shown in these renders, we see a subtle evolution. In fact, the corners of the smartphone would be entitled to more rounded finishes for a slightly less rectangular overall aesthetic than the one proposed in 2022. The feeling in contact with the palm when gripping should therefore be a little different.

my smart pricethe site that OnLeaks has partnered with to distribute this filtration, explains that this slight transformation would result in a slightly smaller screen, at 5.8 inches. The slab would remain flat and pierced with a punch centered on top. Also count on slightly smaller dimensions: 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9 mm.
The renders also suggest that the chassis would be metallic. Nothing new under the sun.

What’s more, we can already bet on a Google Tensor G3 chip inside the Pixel 8. The SoC would be first etched in 3 nm. If the smartphone is likely to launch around October 2023, a first official preview could be shared during the Google I/O scheduled for May 10.
